Washington County School Board Passes Alyssa's Law Resolution

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn.
On February 6, the Washington County School Board unanimously passed a resolution urging Governor Lee to fully implement Alyssa's Law in Tennessee. After the events of the shooting at Antioch High School, the need for increased school safety is imperative - and now, Washington County is leading the charge. The resolution, championed by member Gregg Huddlestone, will be sent off to the Governor's Office and the Tennessee General Assembly.
